No guarantee can be made for shipping and delivery speeds once your order has left Johnston Bait & Tackle. Every effort is made to ensure your order can be delivered as soon as possible.
However, due to the large increase in the volume of shipped goods, environmental factors, and other external variables beyond our control, we cannot guarantee delivery times on any order. Thank you for your understanding of these circumstances.

- Orders before 12pm Monday through Friday will be shipped via the carrier of choice the same day.
- We ship Monday-Friday with FedEx, UPS, & the USPS to ensure on-time delivery.
- Most items qualify for $10 Flat Rate Delivery Charge.
Orders are not shipped on Weekends or Holidays.
Some items require additional packaging and handling which includes a higher cost. We do our best to share these costs however some additional fees do apply. Items with additional fees are labeled on their product page. Generally, these items include;
Large Landing Nets
Orders shipping to Iowa & other Spee-Dee Delivery areas qualify for express, low cost service.
Iowa orders qualify for Next Day Delivery.
Orders shipping to other Spee-Dee Deliverable zones qualify for 1 to 2 Day Shipping. Please use Spee-Dee’s Shipping Calculator to see if you qualify and the estimated Shipping Transit Time.
This service is available Monday through Wednesday.
Spee-Dee Delivery does not deliver on Weekends.
If you would like your order delivered on the Weekend, please choose another shipping service.
Live Fish delivery service is available to Iowa delivery addresses only.

All Live Bait Shipping Orders are only shipped Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday’s at this time. Orders placed after Wednesday will be fulfilled on the upcoming Monday.
Johnston Bait & Tackle will make any and all efforts to ensure all product is packaged safely and responsibly for quality delivery. Johnston Bait & Tackle is not liable for any products damaged or lost during shipping. If you received your order damaged, please complete the following steps to ensure that product is replaced or cost reimbursed;
- Immediately document all damages upon inspection including;
- How the order looked upon arrival before opening
- Any visible product damages
- Other circumstances that were noticed upon delivery
- Send an Email to email@example.com with the following information;
- Order Number
- Pictures and any other Information about Damages or Shipping Issues
- Keep all items in unused condition in original packaging as we complete your damages claim.
Please Submit any Shipping Damages Claims within 48 Hours of Delivery.
Additional Shipping Information
Shipment confirmation & Order tracking
You will receive a Shipment Confirmation email once your order has shipped containing your tracking number(s). The tracking number will be active within 24 hours.
Customs, Duties and Taxes
Johnston Bait & Tackle is not responsible for any customs and taxes applied to your order. All fees imposed during or after shipping are the responsibility of the customer (tariffs, taxes, etc.).
